Malay Game Chicken

It’s ages since I designed an origami living creature, especially a bird. So with this thought at the back of my mind, I recently accepted a commission to fold a rather rare breed of chicken called a Malay Game. Described as “the world’s tallest breed of chicken and looks like a cross between a velociraptor and a vulture”, it seemed an interesting challenge.

Here’s what I’ve achieved so far. Being rather tall and tail heavy, the design isn’t very stable so please excuse the primitive wire supports. Not too complex, the chicken uses a basic form not unrelated to that used for the Rhino in Brilliant Origami.
